We have charter arrangements with a number of private owner/ operators of both power and sailing craft, providing a fantastic selection of ways to enjoy the Solent and all based locally and attractively priced.

Jet-boat and RIB Powerboats:

jetboatribs Experience the thrills and excitement in either a highly maneuverable Rigid Inflatable Boat (RIB), or the ultimate Jet-boat, with a top speeds of 35kts+. Travel amongst the myriad of other watercraft on a high speed cruise, or maybe a treasure hunt and take lunch over in Cowes perhaps. You may even get a chance to take the wheel and enjoy the power and maneuverability first hand. Full water sports days, including RIB Driving, Water Skiing and Wake Boarding are also available - please enquire. Certain restrictions apply.

Fairline Phantom 42- Motor Cruiser:

motorcruiserClimb aboard a motor yacht (for up to 12 guests) and cruise the Solent in luxury. Relax with a welcoming drink in the comfortable main cabin, then join the skipper on the fly-bridge for a tour of the sights. Enjoy the delights and beauty of the Isle of Wight; from Cowes to Freshwater and on to the Needles, then maybe over to see Old Portsmouth Harbour, contrasting sharply with the new Spinnaker Tower & Gun Wharf harbourside development- views you've probably not experienced.

Day/ Half-day & Evening charter available.

Classic Yacht Sailing (for up to 12):

yachtBuilt in 1995, this fabulous yacht is a Bristol Channel Cutter. At 54ft on deck and 64ft overall, she is a modern classic, designed with teak decks and superstructure, long keel and the latest navigation electronics including satellite phone, radar and chart plotter. She is beautifully fitted out in polished flame mahogany throughout. She can accommodate 12 guests and is equipped with 2 showers, heating and hot & cold running water. She can sleep all 12 at a push!

Day/ Afternoon into evening charter available.

Classic Sailing Barge (for up to 43):

bargeBuilt in 1895 this incredible sailing barge was used to transport cargo along the East Coast and the continent until 1938. Fully restored, she has been converted into a multi-purpose vessel and is available for private charter for large groups (up to 43 people). A magnificent example of her type, she is ideal for client hospitality use, management awaydays, as well as for hands on team building or a social day. Accommodation for 14 is available along with a fantastic menu selection and wine list to help you enjoy a unique historic maritime experience.

Dinghy or Keelboat Sailing for small groups (6-18 people):

sailingSpend either a half or full day sailing on the River in Wayfarer Dinghies, or in the Solent in the fast and agile 23' Hunter Duette yacht. In teams of 2 or 3 + instructor/ skipper, enjoy a truly hands on experience that is as energetic or relaxing as you wish. You'll be instructed in crewing, helming and sail handling, learn sailing techniques and tactics and if the circumstances allow, you will engage in sailing course racing.

Sailing for large groups (6 to 30+ people):

j109yachtSpend a full day sailing in the Solent, on 35’ J109 yachts, tacking, gybing, spinnaker handling and helming. Cruise along under the watchful eye of your fully qualified skipper before mooring in Cowes marina for lunch and a stroll ashore. Heading back out and talk team tactics before a lighthearted race for home. Fantastic boats to sail, hence- yacht of the year 2002.

 

Open Canadian Canoes:

canoePaddle in a small teams up the Hamble river in Canadian Canoes. These craft are very stable, but a good team team paddling technique can make all the difference to the speed of your progress up the river and back. Head into the tranquility of the countryside, or down towards the hustle and bustle of the many boat yards and marinas- it’s interesting in both directions.
